7. Delays and Force Majeure
DLS shall not be held responsible for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Port congestion
- Customs inspections or regulatory interventions
- Carrier operational disruptions
- Weather conditions
- Political events
- Strikes or labor disputes
- Force majeure events
8. Regulatory Compliance
Certain shipments may require export licenses, certificates, or other regulatory approvals. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, the client remains responsible for compliance with applicable export control laws and trade regulations.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, branding elements, logos, and project descriptions, is the intellectual property of Direct Logistic Solutions SIA. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of website content without prior written consent is prohibited.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes arising from or related to services provided by DLS shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Amendments
DLS reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version shall be published on this website and shall take effect upon publication.
6. Cargo Insurance
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, shipments arranged by DLS are subject only to standard carrier liability regimes as defined by the applicable international transport conventions. Compensation for loss or damage is strictly limited to the liability thresholds established under the relevant convention. DLS does not automatically provide all-risk or full-value cargo insurance coverage. If extended, full-value, or all-risk cargo insurance is required, it must be explicitly requested by the client and confirmed in writing prior to shipment execution. In the absence of such written confirmation, only standard convention-based liability shall apply.
