The production of the modular house took longer than planned, while the consignee in the USA needed to receive the cargo as soon as possible. The cargo — 1015 × 398 × 400 cm and over 11 tons — was a logistical challenge on its own.
An additional hurdle came from the certification of the fastening timber, which had to comply with the ISPM-15 standard. Our team promptly replaced the non-compliant materials to ensure full conformity.
BREAKING POINT
Out-of-gauge unit lashing onto 40FR container
When a client prepared a car for a UAE racing event, the vehicle needed to be containerized, insured, and shipped under temporary export terms with a customs debt deposit.
The re-import process and event schedule left no margin for terminal complications or handling damage. A key point was the weight distribution inside the container. After the checkered flag, we ran the play in reverse — same process, same outcome — returned as it arrived.
